Chinchilla what?
What is a chinchilla? A chinchilla is in the rodent family along with mice hamsters, guinea pigs, and rats. Chinchillas have big round ears . They can have long, fluffy tails, or short, furry tails. They have fur softer than any other animal in the world! Chinchillas can live up to 18 to 25 years old!! But if they are in a room over 80 degrees, they will die from heat stroke because their fur is so thick. Imagine wearing a fur coat in 80 degree weather! Good news about chinchillas is that they don't get fleas or ticks or other bugs like dogs or cats do because their fur is so thick (like I said earlier) that as soon as the insect jumps onto the chinchilla, they will suffocate and die, so you won't need to worry about fleas and ticks.
